Cost Plus World Market (2465 E Palm Canyon Drive, Building 4, Palm Springs, CA). Arrive before 7:45 am
I am back and the first thing I want to do is to get under a waterfall.
I know it will be hot, but we should be fine by soaking in the water and heading back to vehicles.
Morning will start off cool, but we should hit the 100s as we depart from the canyon. That is good! Though I want you take lots of water.
If you are not planning to get wet then this will probably be too hot of hike for you. Getting wet will cool you down!
Murray Canyon to Cave Waterfall
(EASY TO MODERATE) EASY FOR HIKERS AND MODERATE...MAYBE DIFFICULT FOR NON-HIKERS DUE TO ELEVATION GAIN AND HEAT.
PLEASE BRING WATER (3 LITERS), A SNACK, GOOD SHOES, CAMERA AND WEAR SOMETHING THAT YOU DON'T MIND GETTING WET IN.

WHEN and WHER WE MEET.
I want to reduce the traffic into the canyon. I order to do that we should carpool in the canyon.
Please MEET me at the parking lot for
WORLD MARKET in the Smoke Tree Commons
2465 E Palm Canyon Dr, Palm Springs, CA 92264
Please no later than 7:45 am. You can run into McDonalds if you need to use the restroom, but please know we leave the parking area at 7:30 am.

CARPOOL
We will carpool 15 minutes to our location. The gate opens at 8:00 am.

Hike is Easy to Moderate
-Distance is 4.2 miles round trip. 2 to 2 and half hours. More time is added for breaks and awesome break at the Cave Waterfall.
Please note that if you are not a hiker that the
Elevation at 500ft gain and drop may be moderate to difficult.
The trail is a there and back again to your cars trip. Not a loop trail.
We will be hiking to a cave waterfall.
Please note that the day will be warm. If you are not a hiker than this trip might be difficult.
The journey is easy for me, but I would still rated moderate due to elevation gain, miles, and heat.

KIDS ARE WELCOMED...BUT NOTE THAT THERE ARE PLENTY OF RATTLESNAKES IN THE CANYON SO KIDS MUST STAY CLOSE TO PARENTS.
