 Sunrise Hike PCT 74 Hwy

I know this ambitious to get anyone to do a sunrise hike on a Sunday, but what the heck...I will try. 

No permit required 

We will depart from Starbucks at 5:45 am and arrive as the sun is coming up over the mountains.  
Don't be late...We want to see the sunrise. 

It is a 30 minute drive from Starbucks to the PCT on Hwy 111

* Hot weather?
No worries. I am going to take us up 74 hwy to our favorite Pacific Crest Trail hike. It's cooler up there, and maybe that early...it could be cold. 

*The hike is not difficult. 5 miles around trip. I figure 2 hour hike. 
This is moderate hike with a trail that climbs and descends. 
500ft up and down. About the same level as bump and grind but a tad longer. 

This is a there and back trail. Meaning if you are going slow we will find you on our way back to the cars.

Bring water
Hiking Poles if you wish.

PS Starbucks opens at 5 am. Please use bathrooms and have your order before 5:45 departure time. Remember we want to catch the sunrise.
